Senior PRO

Mott MacDonald are currently looking to recruit an Arabic speaking Senior Public Relations Officer to work on behalf of our local office in Qatar in regards to managing local governmental, public relations duties and administrative task

- Liaise with staff sponsors and with the local governmental offices
- Schedule staff visas, medicals with relevant departments
- Collect all appropriate documentation necessary for visa and permits required to be processes
- Organize visas for business related travel for managers as required
- Provide HR team and Country General Manager with updates in regards to changes within the immigration department and be able to provide support on immigration issues for Qatar
- Assist in renewal of trade licence
- Ensure all visa, medical and labour permits are up to date and arrange timely renewal
- Support submissions for registration for relevant departments
- Evaluating and recommending changes in methods or procedures while adhering to local relevant Labour and Immigration laws
- Establish relations with government offices, embassies and consulates
- Provide advice, guidance and assistance regarding government related matters to ensure all employees understand the requirements
- Monitor and analyse pending legislation and regulations which may impact the organization operations and alert management in order to analyse alternatives and undertake appropriate action

Requirements

- Fluent in both English and Arabic
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experienced with the visa processes in Qatar and be able to be proactive in regards to obtaining to obtaining visas
- Qatar drivers license
- Already based in Qatar and should have at least 5 years of working within a similar Public Relations Officer role
- Fully conversant with the Qatari labour laws
