The RoleThe RoleJOB PURPOSE: Carries out Instrumentation Preventive maintenance activities and troubleshooting of various types of Instrumentation equipment installed in ORYX GTL plant facilities. ACCOUNTABILITIES: - Contribution to achieve maintenance department goals and objective of Plant equipment. - Carries out routing preventive maintenance, fault finding, repairs and replacement of electrical equipment according to schedules, defect reports and check lists for specific equipment requirements. - Assists in planning annual shut down and major equipment turnarounds and carries out complete overhaul of electrical equipment reassembles and tests equipment in accordance with requirements or tests schedules. - Assist in monitoring and maintenance of electrical equipment for its healthiness ACCOUNTABILITIES: (Cont’d) - Strict adherence to plant safety Protocols & Good housekeeping - Contribution to continuous improvement by providing suggestions, initiate modifications to improve reliability of Equipment/Process, Improve Safety, Improve Maintainability, Reduce Cost, - Active participation in Major Development Projects. - Maintain/Update the job completion records. - Maintain history cards for the Instrumentation equipment. - Perform Technical investigation to determine the root cause of failure - Interact closely with the Planning Team and ensure smooth operation. - Ensure the KPI of the Maintenance Team is achieved - Responsible for the support of Company Safety, environment and Quality policies and programs, and carrying out specific duties and responsibilities related to his job as spelled out in Management system documentation policies, procedures, local documentation, Management System Manual, Safety Manual and other related documents. - Adhere to the Work management Process of GTL processes/procedures - Train national employees. |
RequirementsRequirementsMinimum Qualification: Diploma in Instrumentation & Controls (Minimum). Minimum Experience: 8 to 10 Years. Job Specific Skills: - Instrumentation Maintenance Activities. (fitting, calibration, cleaning, fault finding, modification and physical repairs to Instrument equipment in field and workshop) - Schematic and typical drawing study - SAP Plant maintenance Module - Maintenance Planning |
