ABOUT CLIENT:
An exciting opportunity with an established leading South East Asia based National Oil Company.

JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
1. Plans and directs the routine surveillance of wells (producers & injectors) in assigned field and participates in the monitoring of relevant production data to identify production stimulation and optimization opportunities.
2. Attends to investigation and provides practical solutions of production and operation anomalies.
3. Directs and participates in the preparation of proposals and schedules for well completion, testing and work over and participates in production optimization projects by carrying out thorough investigation and proposals for stimulation, artificial lift and other operations enhancement methods aimed at meeting the teams oil and gas production objectives.
4. Participates in major development projects/studies carried out by in-house resources and/or outside consultants/agencies.
5. When assigned to undeveloped fields, prepares design concepts for wells and facilities. Includes defining and evaluating options for operating the field over the life of the development, creating and validating integrated production system models and estimating well and facility capital expenditure and operating costs over the full life cycle of the field.

Requirements

1) Bachelors Degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
2) Minimum 10-15 years in petroleum engineering including solid experience in drilling with at least 3 years in a senior position.
