Responsible for the quality control of the raw and computed data. Participates in peer reviews and helps with completion interval selection. Is aware of and recommends new technologies as needed. |
RequirementsRequirementsResponsibilities Petrophysical Log Analysis - Accurate and timely analysis of any logs acquired by the team - Responsible for quality control of the log data and also the quality of the complete services provided by the vendor - Responsible for identifying problems and coming up with solutions for both operational and evaluation services Petrophysical Studies - Responsible for developing and maintaining petrophysical models of key zones - Applies petrophysical technologies to deliver petrophysical parameters to be used in the geologic and dynamic models Technology - Applies and keeps-up-to date on logging and perforating technologies and associated technology transfer Safety - Ensures that contractors perform their operations to the highest safety standards - Makes sure everyone involved follows radioactive and explosive safety policy Contractor Coordination - Holds service quality review meetings with contractor - Ensures that all petrophysical services are delivered to location and office when needed - Schedules equipment for optimum usage Team Member - Establishes effective relationships and ensures success in day-to-day interface within team - And other duties as assigned by your supervisor - Other duties as directed by the department head or other appropriate management |
