Job description / Role
- Participate in a team of assigned engineers in the production of piping discipline deliverables to the agreed schedule.
- Produce the various discipline deliverables to the agreed schedule.
- Apply recognized detail engineering practices applicable to piping engineering calculations and design.
- Good interpersonal skills, liaising with members of other disciplines and departments.
- Carry out clash resolution , IDC checks, review of Vendor drawings.
- Prepare Piping Engineering specifications, datasheets, calculations, Material Take-Off, Request for Quotations, and Technical Bid Evaluation.
- Review plot plans, equipment layouts, piping plans, and Isometrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 8 years experience.
- Has experience in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, or infrastructure industries.
- Must have thorough knowledge of engineering practices, design details, international codes and standards, procedures and specifications.
- Candidate must have a thorough knowledge of piping related international codes and standards such as API 5L, ASME B31.3.
- Thorough knowledge of in-plant piping design.
- Previous working experience with Saudi Aramco projects is preferred.
- Working knowledge of PDS or SmartPlant 3D Model Review is a plus.
