Job description / Role
My client have recently been awarded a lucrative Expressway project in Qatar and are actively seeking Senior Planner for the project. The project value is approximately QR 1.3bn which will last over 3 years and they are in the process of putting together their core management team for this exciting project.
As such they have a requirement for an experienced Senior Planner to manage, update and monitor projects schedules for the programme, including generating progress reports and integrating the schedules within the overall master programme schedule.
Requirements
• A Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 15years post graduate experience;
• Previous experience in Planning on Infrastructure projects/ roads and highways projects
• Have good knowledge and experience of the project lifecycle for Roads/Infrastructures projects in respect to planning, cost and schedule control;
• A good knowledge of the design process and construction methodologies;
• Experienced Programme Controls professional with good technical skills (i.e. critical path, earned value, etc);
• Experience in the application of Primavera P6, and knowledge of Primavera contract manager on Infrastructure projects; and
• Experience in developing, analysing, and maintaining schedules and Cost/Progress reporting systems
