The RoleThe RoleYou will be leading, managing and administrating planning tools used for 2G, 3G, LTE and WiMax networks. You will participate in planning and dimensioning the Radio Network according to the rollout plan and license obligations. You will be leading propagation models' tuning and frequency planning activities on planning tools and you will be the interface of structure between the planning tools, other GIS applications and other databases. You will be managing databases and keep update. You will conduct Traffic and forecast management by collecting and analysing network status and compare the forecasted traffic using the tools. You will proactively address allocated tasks and issues including taking own initiatives to resolve any challenges. |
RequirementsRequirementsYou should have B.Sc./E Eng in Engineering/Telecommunications/IT or related fields with at least 5+ years of experience as a Senior Planner. You should have a high level technical experience in handling Map info, traffic forecasting tools, TEMS Cell Planner, Asset or any other planning tools (must). You should have experience in field Surveys (must). You should have excellent capability to work on radio planning tools & GIS applications, Propagation Models and automatic frequency planning (must). You should have experience with drive testing tools (like TEMS Investigation, Nemo and Swissqual) and also post processing tools (like RANOPT, ACTIX and NEMO analyzer) You have good MS Office, operating systems and programming skills with queries and scripting. You have good understanding of DB management on planning tools and interfaces. You have excellent problem solving and project management capability with excellent communication skills on English and Arabic (written and spoken). |
