Job description / Role
Part of a team of 2 to 3 planners, reporting to the Senior Planning / Project Controls Director.
Initially operating on standalone basis as team is mobilised progressively.
Senior Planner working for the Project Management Consultant. Responsible for planning, scheduling and reporting functions on the Project, including involvement and input into preparation and implementation of relevant Project Procedures, risk management, contractors claims evaluation and promotion of innovation.
Manage the Contractor and Supervision Consultant planning obligations including, but not limited to the Construction Programme preparation, regular progress updates and detailed reporting including KPI’s.
Preparation of specific Project Procedures, implementation through the extended Project team, including the Client, Cost Consultant, Supervision Consultant and Contractor.
Presentations, communications and correspondence with other Project team members related to planning, scheduling and reporting.

Oracle Primavera P6
Risk Analysis Software (Acumen Risk, Primavera Risk Analysis etc)
4D Planning Software (Synchro etc)
Microsoft Office Suite
Good communicator
Confident personality
Ability to understand the specific requirements of the role of a senior planner within a Project Management Consultancy appointment
5-10 years industry experience
Degree in Construction related profession
