Job description / Role
• Establish clear time & scope related dimensions for the project in order to provide a fit for purpose WBS (Work break down structure).
• Establish progress reporting namely, S-Curves, Histograms and look ahead.
• Apply selected methods & production rates to planning in order to arrive at a concise, presentable and defensible/realistic program in accordance with the company standards.
• Prepare, maintain, and interface the Staff, Labour, Plant Forecast in the company standard format based on cost, time and resource distribution across the specified activities in synchronization with the program.
• Interface productively with Site Team to ensure alignment of planning, construction methods & production.
• Load cost, materials and resources into Primavera as a default approach and arrive at comprehensive Project plans that include full project scope with additional works and variations.
• Monitor progress throughout the construction process on a weekly basis and compare with projected schedule of work with regular tracking & reporting of works and variations, highlighting KPIs and any issues as early as possible to allow for management decision thereby enabling the successful completion of the project.
• Identify and review regularly critical and sub-critical activities and monitor its impact on project schedules with regular reporting against established KPIs any issues that enable the successful completion of the project as early as possible
• Develop and maintain project change control and review scope change requests for impact on schedules and the critical path of the project.
Requirements
• 5 – 10 years construction/environmental experience in civil marine projects
• Experience in developing plans for all phases of construction projects
• Experience working in the Middle East
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Projects
• Degree in Engineering
