Job description / Role
A leading international construction developer is seeking to recruit a Senior Planning Engineer for a position based in Dubai, UAE. The role is working within a large planning team, taking responsibility for the planning, scheduling and project control of a number of large scale general build and high rise construction projects throughout the UAE. You will liaise with the contractors and consultants on-site, ensuring that construction aspects are completed to deadlines and that the project is delivered to schedule. You will report to the Planning Manager and help lead a team of Planning Engineers.
To apply, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Hold a degree or equivalent in a relevant technical field.
- Have an established background as a Senior Planning Engineer within large developers and engineering consultancies.
- Have a strong track record working on general build and high-rise construction projects in the Middle East.
- Be familiar with relevant technical programs (Primavera P3 and P6)
- Have excellent communication, organisation and planning skills.
- Preferably be already based in the UAE.
