Senior Planning Engineer

Job description / Role

KEO International Consultants is a highly ranked and award winning planning, architecture, engineering and project and construction management firm with offices in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Bahrain, Dubai, Jordan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
We are currently seeking qualified a Senior Planning Engineer to work on some of the most prestigious and internationally recognised projects within the region. As a Senior Planning Engineer you will be responsible for overseeing and providing planning advice with regard to critical schedule milestones. This role is a vital and integral part of our Project Management and Construction Management Division.

Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:

• Extensive buildings experience specifically with high-rise, hotels and luxury residential projects.
• Reviewing and approving contractor’s work program submissions.
• Overseeing actual project progress versus the planned work milestones.
• Monitoring, adjusting and updating the cost plan and cash flows accordingly and the consolidation of these results in weekly reports.
• Reviewing in conjunction with the Project Manager or Construction Manager any potential changes, and in turn measuring where possible future saving or additional costs can be identified.

Requirements

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or other related discipline with a minimum of 10 years of post-graduate experience.

Previous experience gained within a Consultancy would be beneficial, whilst prior experience in the Gulf Region is advantageous as is membership of an applicable professional association
