Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

•Issue the tender schedule assigning major resources for the project and provide histogram using the owner Bill of Quantity in coordination with Quantity surveying and tender departments.
•Establish and maintain cash flow for the project to be submitted to tender department.
•Prepare Schedule Narrative to assist tender department in preparing the method of statement for the project in tender stage.
•Prepare summary report for the project data like name of project, assumptions, estimated duration, issues and scope of work of this project.
•Prepare the schedule project file after submission of all the required data to tender department and prepare presentation for the project as required.
•Develop logistics plan for the project whether in tender or construction phases in coordination with Logistics Department.
•Develop the base line schedule/ recovery schedule and assign the project resources in details.
•Collect data from owner Bill of Quantity to issue the cash in to ensure the volume of work done correctly.
•Monitor the project progress to verify that the updated schedule comply with the approved base line schedule and highlight critical issues and area of concern and provide analysis to the project manager and management staff.
•Issue daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports about the project and provide input to Management staff.
•Prepare close out report in coordination with the project team to be a reference for the company for the coming projects.
•Propose the recommended plan to complete the project schedule to ensure that critical issues and assumptions are covered.
•Issue and review the Schedule Narrative.
•Fulfill all the requirements of Project control Department regarding the department Databases.
•Jointly Prepare the following :
- Project Cost Plan and submit its monthly status report.
- Project Cash flow & submit monthly status analysis.
- The project close out report.
•Follow up the productivity team and issue the monthly reports for project rates.
•Supervise and train junior Planning and planning Engineers to issue the master schedule according to contract requirements with compliance with OCI procedure.
•Ensure that the performance of various assigned tasks, and the conduct of junior planning staff within the project are in accordance with the Project controls department's policies and procedures.
•Provide direction and manage junior planning engineers in the project in performing their delegated tasks linked to the Project Controls department policies and procedures.
•Perform periodic performance appraisals for line reports and other staff in coordination with HR.
•Handles related special assignments within the scope of project controls department if required.

Requirements

- BSc Civil /Arch Engineering
- 6-12 years of experience
- Project Management Diploma is a plus
- Computer skills : Primavera, Autocad, MS Office
- Very good communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Leadership skills

- Analytical Skills
- Mobile to travel
