Senior Pre Commissioning Specialist - Oil & Gas

Job description / Role

EUROPEAN - Oil & Gas business is looking to appoint a Senior Pre Commissioning Specialist to be based in Abu Dhabi . This individual will be based in Abu Dhabi with the family but travel the globe for the Oil & Gas related projects.

Reporting to the Head of Commissioning in the UAE you will be responsible for everything related to the pre start & commissioning phase on site.

You will have a clear 15+ Years within the Oil & Gas sector where you will of worked for the big players such as KBR, Technip or CBI.

You will not need motivating or guidance . You will be seen as able to manage your own diary relating to the work you are given on the projects.

When the project is awarded you will be capable of reviewing the scope of commissioning on the project . You will be able to pull apart potential risks and problems before they happen.

You will set up all the commissioning functions on site and then hand the project across to the Commissioning Manager based in that country. You will be well adverse to all commissioning procedures , systems, drawings & manuals required to comply with the clients requirements of the implemented systems needed.

Your Oil & Gas experience will most likely have been working in KSA , The North Sea or Europe.

Requirements

This business only delivers up stream and down stream Oil & Gas projects on shore . You will be able to trouble shoot on a project when required and take over at critical stages if need be.

You will be degree qualified from a reputable university. You will have the ability to communicate with clients and project teams gaining respect and top performance from all involved.

This business will provide the following for this person:

Whilst in Abu Dhabi you will work an eleven day fortnight (5 Days 2 day weekend followed by a 6 Day week - 1 Day weekend)

All locations you will be sent yo are safe and you will not visit a SINGLE WARZONE for this employer.
