The RoleThe RoleSenior / Principal Landscape Designer and Manager Relocation package – Flights – Health – Schools – Accommodation - Excellent basic salary Senior / Principal Landscape Designer and Manager My client is a world leader in land and community based design services including land use planning, urban design, concept architecture, landscape architecture, water resource management and environmental services. They are currently looking for a Senior / Principal Landscape Architect / Design Manager to work from either their Dubai or Abu Dhabi office in a host of exciting local projects. Experience Requirements The are interested in Landscape Architects with a minimum of three years professional experience in a multi-disciplinary practice, who possess the following: / Strong portfolio of realised work or designs which demonstrate excellent technical capabilities, and a design-lead, creative vision / Knowledge of contemporary design trends, techniques, materials and ‘state-of-the-art’ practice / Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in Or manage project teams across disciplines at all levels / Proven attention to detail and achievement of deadlines / Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop and InDesign / Progression towards or previous success in project and client management / Good knowledge of local/regional market with established networks and contacts preferable If you have all of these skills and are interested in applying here is what the job will entail; As an experienced Landscape Architect, committed to creating ecologically-sustainable development you will provide technical expertise and/or leadership on specific and allocated projects. / Deliver and as appropriate oversee quality in the preparation of proposals and products; prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines, budgeting and scheduling; supervising site visits; directing project staff and determining staffing needs / Manage and contribute to the development of project scopes and budgets, and modify and/or review drawings, construction documentation and detailing / Communicate effectively with project teams and clients regarding design schemes and implementation / Manage, prepare, correct and update project documents and schedules as required / Prepare for and participate in proposal interviews and client meetings / Contribute to the design process by developing innovative solutions to problems / Assist in marketing efforts to current clients and to identify and attract new clients / Work with senior staff to develop client and project management skills |
