Senior Process Engineer

Job description / Role

Responsible for providing an advanced level of technical advice to design team to ensure that the treatment plants and other water schemes are designed in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Performs advanced, complex engineering assignments using convention or innovative engineering techniques and analyses as related to project process systems. Performs Front-end Engineering Design works as required.

At this level, the Engineer is fully proficient in the utilization of standard engineering theories and practices. Some assignments involve CAE (computer aided engineering)/CAD (computer aided design) applications.

Responsible to implement the project quality plan and quality procedures and productivity related to all process works in accordance with program of work on construction site.

Requirements

Bachelor Degree or Master’s Degree in Chemical, Biochemical or Environmental Engineering.

Minimum of 10 years experience in process design for municipal, biological WWTPs, Water Treatment Plants and/or oil and gas related industries.
Experience supervising and leading a team is a plus.

Proven ability to perform in a key technical role, good written and oral communications skills, and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are also required. In addition, must be knowledgeable of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on the project.
