Employment: Full Time

Randstad Middle East has an urgent requirement for an Arabic Speaking Senior Process Engineer to work for a major consultancy on Water & Wastewater Treatment projects. Our client is responsible for Project Management and Construction Supervision.

We are looking for candidates with experience of Process, Start up and Operation & Maintenance of Water & Waste Water Treatment Plants including:

· Sea water treatment facilities, reverse osmosis (RO) and demineralization

· Clarification, filtration and ultra-filtration, gas removal, water cooling towers

· Water softening

· Thermal desalination

· Ion Exchange project

· Post treatment (post chlorination or disinfection, pH adjustment, re-mineralization).

· Review of client contract documents and technical specifications.

· Layout plan recommendations according to the specs and O&M.

· Providing optioning process alternatives and selecting the appropriate system according to the specifications.

· Assisting procurement and tendering departments.

· Review of engineering documents (and P&ID) from/to client, suppliers (contractor) and site.

· Planning work with the contractors and monitoring & controlling it in accordance to the contract.

· Coordinating and Supervising the Site/Supplier (contractor)/Client with detailed engineering development during erection and commissioning phase.

· Preparing pre-commissioning and commissioning documents for all systems and equipment (instrumentation and water chemistry).

· Preparing all operation & maintenance manuals and spare parts lists.

Due to the urgency of this requirement, it is preferred that candidates are available in less than 1 month.

Requirements

Candidate requirements:
Open to Arab Nationals only
Degree qualified in Engineering or similar
Minimum 10 years postgraduate experience – particularly in Construction Supervision roles on major utility projects
Previous GCC experience essential

Benefits:
Attractive Basic Salary circa 25-30K SAR
