Senior Project Control Manager

As the portfolio of infrastructure projects in Qatar continues to expand, so too our employer, a respectable public works authority with the responsibility of implementing the program, is looking to expand their ranks. With long term prospects providing stability and career development, our employer is looking welcome two experienced Senior Project Control Managers to the team to support the growth and development of the business. One of the Project Control Managers will be responsible for Reporting and the other for Key Performance Indicators.

They key deliverables for both roles are:

• Robust integration and compliance of the relevant control processes across projects and programmes.
• KPI/performance management reporting at portfolio level
• Portfolio reporting consolidation

Working as part of the Corporate Service team, your responsibilities in the role will include to:

• Support the Strategic team in the management of preparing reports and key communications as required.
• Develop and lead the process for the aggregation of data at programme level.
• Develop and lead reporting consistency across programme.
• Lead the management of producing performance data to support successful delivery.
• Lead the management of project and programme baseline integrity, through robust change management.
• Lead the execution of the programme controls, delivering outcomes in line with expectations of programme deliverables, KPIs and operating targets.
• Lead the review of the Programme Controls team plans and performance in order to ensure alignment with overall programme plan and ensure programme delivery remains on target
• Implement and manage meeting and reporting schedules at a strategic / programme level.
• Responsibility of implemented document management process.
• Arrange archiving of documentation as required.
• Ensuring implementation of Quality Assurance standard and H&S processes across the programme.
• Overseeing the management of risk across project and the maintenance of developed risk register incorporating escalation processes.
• Maintaining key event schedules at a programme level.
• Provide Management and Oversight of Programme Control Team.

Requirements

Essential attributes include:

• Bachelor Science, Bachelor Engineering or comparable Degree. Chartered Status/Professional License required.
• Professional Project Management Certifications (e.g. PMP, PRINCE 2) desirable.
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience, with at least 10 years of similar experience with extensive experience in programme management.
• Experience of electronic document control systems and operating KPI systems.
• Ability to develop new processes in response to changes in policy and contractual requirements.
