The RoleThe RoleSenior Project Development Engineer based in Qatar to lead the development and implementation of a large Greenfield Refinery or Petrochemical complex. Role description As Senior Project Development Engineer, you will define and execute the Refinery Engineering components of the project through the various phases of basic design, detailed design, construction, commissioning and start-up and participate in the Joint Venture Task force and work closely with other Project Development Engineers to ensure alignment of work across the project. In addition, you will Protect the company's interests when interacting with joint venture partners and contractors and direct and participate in preparing and reviewing engineering design packages.You will also need to provide Technical Assurance to the company's Senior Management and provide feedback via reporting and regular meetings on Project development. RequirementsRequirementsThe successful candidate will have: -Degree in Chemical Engineering from a reputable international institution with significant expertise in design, manufacturing methods and operations of Refinery Units (CDU / VDU, NHT, CCR, DHT, HCU, FCC, H, Plant etc.) and Sulfur recovery plant etc. -Minimum 15 years of practical and relevant experience in Refinery Plants. -Experience in FEED, detailed engineering that includes project development, economic analyses, process simulations, and project related activities in Refinery. -Proficiency in safe design and operations of process units, including familiarity with process safety elements such as MOCs, HAZOPs, P&IDs and behavioural safety. -The candidate should have a good understanding of international codes. -Excellent oral and written English and report writing |
