Senior Project Development Engineer

Our client work was established in 1974. They work in all phases of Oil & Gas; including drilling and production operations, transport, etc.

They are looking to recruit Senior Project Development Engineer (Process Petrochems) to be based in Qatar.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Emphasis is made on conducting the projects definition and execution subject to budget, schedule and quality through the various phases of feasibility, basic design, detailed design, construction, commissioning and start-up.
The position embraces the whole projects Iifecycle which includes the following stages: evaluation (per-feasibility, feasibility), development (FEED) and implementation (EPIC).
Coordinate all defined stages of the project Iifecycle of downstream Petrochemical projects with joint venture partners.
Protect company interests when negotiating with joint venture partners and contractors.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience
BSc. degree in Chemical Engineering from a reputable international institution is a must with significant knowledge in Petrochemical technologies and strong awareness of economics, business development and contracts negotiations.
Higher academic or professional qualification is preferred to embrace the project commercial dimensions and job complexity.
At least-I 5 years minimum of varied experience in Petrochemical process operation & design, project engineering, economics and development. Experience in the petrochemical industry or in an integrated refining/petrochemical facility/company.
