Job description / Role
- To assist sales & marketing team in making project engineering proposals
- To coordinate on all technical activities on assigned projects.
- Coordinate and check engineering deliverables.
- Ensure the office standards are followed i.e. cleanliness, process and documentation.
- Monthly project status reports and change orders.
- Ensures effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines.
- Ensures frequent site visits / installation guidance on assigned projects.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Receives enquiry from the Sales Team and ensure that the project enquiry complies with all the required specification.
- Check the design assumption considered in the drywall / ceiling design is in compliance with project specification.
- Prepare the Engineering proposal / Technical Data Sheet based on the project specification.
- Prepares Re-engineered proposal in compliance with best engineering practices and to suit the required design mentioned in the project specification.
- Prepare Break Down sheet for the engineering proposal and ensure that the price is as per standard price list.
- Sends the complete proposal / TDS with BDS to the sales team.
- Arrange sample boards as per request of the sales team and as per specification proposed in the Break down sheet.
- Inspect project sites at required intervals for proper installation of the complete system.
- Assist / educate / guide the Clients installers to follow the engineering standards / practices while installing the drywall system as per the Technical data sheet / Proposal.
- Prepares inspection report for any changes / corrections to be made in the project installation and forwards it to the client.
- Prepares general correspondence and reports / updates as directed by the DGM.
- Participate in Client/contractor meetings and resolving Client/engineering and management project issues.
- Ensure effective engineering and Client communications.
- Maintain the project files.
Requirements
We prefer candidates who have experience in the Gypsum Boards.
- University Qualifications: Civil Engineering
- Other certifications obtained: Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Nature and length of previous experience: At least 2-5 years experience as Project Engineer
- Specialist knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Soft Skills and Personality traits: Communication. listening & self starter
