Job description / Role
Manage all stages of the project lifecycle and ensure delivery to agreed time, cost and quality and scope
Clarify and initiate DO&M design and/or performance needs in relation to project to be delivered
Provide expert technical review to proposed preliminary and detailed designs/solutions where applicable
Initiate and co-ordinate tender process for project by carrying out tender specification preparation, obtaining necessary approvals from Corporate stakeholders (EBSD, Finance), responding to tender queries
Participate in preparation of tender report and evaluation of tender and pprocure specialist contractors and/or consultants where necessary
Monitor and control project progress and keep all stakeholders updated on regular basis
Oversee and participate in Control Hazard and Operability studies (CHAZOP) during project construction and handover stage
Participate in inspections and acceptance testing, review and accept project handover documents on behalf of DO&M, ensuring relevant training where appropriate
Ensure adherence to Health and Safety Procedures and all company policies, procedures and regulations
Requirements
- Degree in any Engineering Discipline.
- Must have at least 9 years of experience in Engineering design and project management out of which 5 years of experience in Water/Wastewater industry.
- Must have Assets Management Experience and Drainage Operation and Maintenance field.
- Arabic Language is a Plus
