Job description / Role
ABOUT CLIENT:
A leading EPC company providing services for oil and gas, petrochemicals, power and other related industry.
JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
• Planning and coordinating engineering work on complex projects.
• Interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating assignments.
• A primary interface for all engineering and personnel matters within the project/assignment
• Establishing engineering execution plans in accordance with the applicable engineering procedures and practices.
• Reviewing staffing plans on all assignments
• Conducting annual performance review in
accordance with company procedures and holds career development discussions.
• Project planning prior to proposals to provide technical guidance for engineering and construction review of proposals.
• Monitors the use of available engineering computer programs, technical advances and engineering control techniques on the projects assigned.
• Maintaining the status of all the projects involving assigned personnel.
• Inputs to and owns the engineering elements of a project capital estimate quantities and budget.
REMUNERATION:
An attractive remuneration will be negotiated with the successful candidates and will be in line with a competitive industry standard.
Requirements
QUALIFICATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• University recognized degree in engineering.
• 25 plus years of experience in oil & gas/ refinery/petrochemical industries.
• A professional license in an engineering discipline from a recognized licensing board.
• Progressive work experience including supervision, preferable in project and staff design in engineering.
• Proficient knowledge of company business activities and operations and industry regulatory codes & standards.
• Extensive technical knowledge of engineering systems, engineering calculations, 2D and 3D computer aided design and computer aided engineering to engineering problems.
• WESTERN EXPATS WOULD BE PREFERRED.
