Senior Project Manager – Environmental

KEO International Consultants is a world ranked and leading Architectural, Engineering, and Project and Construction Management Firm with offices in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Bahrain, Dubai, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

We are currently seeking a qualified Senior Project Manager – Environmental to undertake evaluation and environment assessments of proposed infrastructure developments within UAE region.

Requirements

Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:

• Extensive experience managing and providing guidance to deliver high quality environmental projects, including SEA, EIA, environmental assessment and environmental management planning, solid waste management planning and design consistently with a focus on meeting program and budgetary control.

• Maintain knowledge of environmental and waste management legislation and regulations (local, federal and international as required), and update existing information databases to ensure kept information is current.

• Ability to directly liaise with Government departments, relevant to all environmental fields.

• Well established analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex analyses in various mediums such as detailed reports, presentations and calculations in a clear and meaningful manner.

• Prepare, review, and update environmental impact assessment/investigation and recommendation reports.

• Proven ability to identify potential clients and discuss proposal recommendations and client management strategies along with developing new business.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain successful client relationships along with the preparation of proposals and presentations.


Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Civil specialising in Environmental Engineering and minimum of 10 years post-graduate experience.

Experience in environmental consultancy preferably in one or more of the following sectors: SEA's EIA's, Waste Management, Oil & Gas, large-scale infrastructure projects; industrial and urban development

Membership of a recognised professional association is preferred.
Prior experience in the Gulf Region would be advantageous.
