Job description / Role
Main Purpose of the Job:
To lead the Project Management on a major hotel project liaising regularly with the client but also closely leading the contractor’s execution team on site to ensure the smooth running and successful completion of the project against the scheduled timeline. This is an exciting opportunity to take a key role on a major fast track hotel project and ensure its successful completion.
Key Responsibilities/ Duties:
• Oversee the scheduling of the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines
• Manage on-site EC Harris resource ensuring direction of the Contractor’s team as per the project schedule
• Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, clients, suppliers and subcontractors
• Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods
• Select, contract, and oversee workers who complete specific pieces of the project
• Procure supplies and materials to complete construction projects
• Prepare and submit budget estimates and progress and cost tracking reports
• Develop and implement quality control programs
• Take actions to deal with the results of delays at construction site.
• Liaise with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems
• Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites, to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out
Requirements
• Degree Qualified
• Minimum 20 years post graduate experience
• Towers/High-Rise execution experience to completion
• Previous experience with a Contractor
• Hotel project experience
• Stable track record based on projects from inception to completion
• Excellent Communication skills
• Arabic Language advantageous
