Job description / Role
My client is a Dubai based company specializing in exhibition stand design and construction, conferences, event management, turn-key digital solutions and commercial interiors and they are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their office. Salary 20-25k AED per month.
Description:
The individual will be responsible for the oversight of all field operations, management of contractors and sub-contractors and reporting to the owner on progress and challenges.
Position responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
- Work collaboratively with the contractor (s), and Owner to solve project challenges representing the Owner's best interest
- Solve complex challenges relating to project schedule and budget as an effective member of the project Team
- Observe and monitor contractor team to ensure that the project is being constructed in accordance with the approved plan and specifications and that critical project milestone will be met
- Monitor and ensure compliance to safety plans and standards.
- Engage with other team members
- Able to solve complex problems associated with the management of costs and schedules with the project team
- Ability to track and manage General Contractors and subcontractors
- Supervise inspection personnel and on-site construction for conformance with contract requirements
- Write detailed daily reports of the progress of the project to be recorded by the Document Controls/Field Engineer
- Able to manage the overall project schedule and maintain the actual start and finish dates for all tasks
- Highly organized in work habits to consistently and accurately support the team and manage a variety of critical tasks
- Excellent communication skills to actively and accurately support the team and the successful delivery of the project
Requirements
Minimum Experience Required
* 10 years of construction management or project management experience
* Experience work in F&B, Retail and Commercial Sectors
* Some project management experience with Hospitality clients
Education:
* Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering / Construction Management
