Job description / Role
SAS Global are currently working with an International Project Management Consultancy who require a Senior Project Manager to lead a team of PM professionals and a technical consultant team in the Owner’s Engineer role on an EPC contract to Design and Deliver a 300MW Thermal Power Plant in the Kurdistan region of Iraq.
Salary/Package - $16,000 Per Month + Accommodation + Flights + Transport + Medical + Holiday.
Requirements
The preferred candidate will have maturity, practical experience of Thermal Power Plant delivery, be familiar with the Owner’s Engineer role and well qualified technically (degree, Chartered or equivalent). He must be capable of welding together an effective team from staff of different companies and different cultures (European and Korean) and of creating a positive working relationship with the government Client organization.
Arabic and Kurdish language skills would obviously be an asset, though not essential for a candidate who brings other skills and capability.
