Job description / Role
Working for a Global EDP company, you will be based in the office and on site during the build of a multi million dollar megastructure project in Kazakhstan. This mixed use development is expected to conclude in 2017, and you will be required for the duration of the project with a view to moving to future projects on completion. The ideal candidate will have high rise and mixed use experience in a similar role.
THE ROLE
Hands on project management during the three year construction
Build positive working relationships with the client, suppliers and internal delivery teams
Controlling commercial aspects of the project
Assisting with the review of payment to the contractor
Taking a lead in ensuring the programme is adhered to
Planning and project controls
Requirements
Degree qualified in Construction / Construction related discipline from a Western University (due to Visa restrictions)
Ideally an additional Project Management qualification / certification
Experience of working on high rise towers / megastructure projects for a main contractor
Experience of managing large mixed use projects
Experience of administering FIDIC based contracts
Ability to manage a team of project managers, designers and support staff
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good leadership and decision making skills
Fluency in English essential, Russian an advantage
