Senior Project Manager

Job description / Role

The Senior Project Manager is the person that takes ownership of the projects and coordinates the activities and the assigned resources to provide the agreed deliverable with the expected quality and in a timely manner.

To successfully perform this task, the candidate must have previous proven experience managing projects and negotiating both scope and deadlines with clients, (preferably in public as well as private organizations) as well as reporting in to General Management or C level.

We are looking for someone with a background in IT projects (preferably those that include complex customized software developments), who possesses a solid technical background and a great deal of experience in Standard Project Management methodologies.

Requirements

- University degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or equivalent.
- Project Management certification (PMI or PRINCE2) or equivalent knowledge is mandatory.
- Excellent knowledge of English and Arabic both spoken and written.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good team worker with leadership skills.
- Knowledge in software development lifecycle and requirements gathering.
- International experience will be a plus.
- Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies will be a plus.
- Knowledge on the following technologies: web based applications, cryptography and digital security will be a plus.
