Job description / Role
1. Manage multiple development teams supporting different lines of business and central applications.
2. Review functional requirements for projects and determine feasibility working with product team leads. Participate in project plans development, resource allocation and estimating timelines.
3. Develop and record technical design to meet requirements and oversee implementation. .
4. Collaborate with business owners to map and support their operational needs.
5. Define, develop and direct development team members to provide high quality application solutions.
6. Ensure team is structured to effectively deliver high quality application solutions.
7. Evaluate current development staff and develop go forward organization strategy.
8. Collaborate with business stake holders to align and prioritize current and future IT initiatives in supporting business objectives.
Requirements
1. A University degree in Computer Science, Business Management, and/or equivalent experience.
2. Minimum 10 years of experience in Information Technology.
3. Minimum 5 years of experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
4. Extensive knowledge and proven skills on Project Management standards, methodologies, and frameworks.
5. Experience in managing large scale complex banking projects.
6. Demonstrated experience in introducing, implementing, and managing change into the organization for a successful transition.
7. Experience in all project life cycle phases of initiation, planning, execution and closure.
8. Familiar with programming languages with Databases and operating systems experience.
9. A mixed background in banking, management and information technology is necessary.
10. Team management experience, comfortable matrix managing project teams and from different stake holders and parties.
