The Role

Senior Project Manager with experience in Process Plant EPC

The Project Manager MUST have at least 5 years experience in a similar Project Management role. Degree /HNC qualified in mechanical engineering. Membership of the APM or similar will be an advantage.

The Role
- Understanding Client’s requirements and being responsible for developing projects from original concept stage through to installation and commissioning of plant for handover, including helping to set budgets, time scales etc

- Managing Scope creep.
- Typical projects include the design and installation of Sea water filtration/ SWRO systems and Waste Water Treatment systems, also some extension /upgrade projects on existing infrastructure
- Organising and overseeing project engineers & sub-contractors and a small staff, ensuring they complete planned/agreed work to time and within budget
- Preparation and maintenance of Method statements and QA/QC documentation including the Project Quality Plan
- Preparation and maintenance of Health & Safety documentation and procedures

Requirements


Requirements

- Must have previous Project Management experience within a Process Engineering environment
- Knowledge of Water Treatment and /or Waste Water Treatment an advantage
- Able to read and understand technical drawings in CAD
- Strong man-management experience
- Previous experience as a Project Engineer would be advantageous
- Technical / Engineering experience would be advantageous
