Job description / Role
Our client is a major civil engineering main contractor who engage in projects from $75m to $2bn in traditional and JV contracts.
They have been operating in West Africa for several decades and have an excellent track record with both state and federal organisations. Due to planned growth they are looking to appoint a Senior Contracts Manager / Projects Director.
You will have full responsibility for all projects, report directly to the Board in relation to work-in-progress and future developments. The role has the potential for the successful candidate to gain a Directorship depending on performance.
Requirements
Projects will include:
Major earthworks
Concrete, drainage
Bridges and other structures
Pavement construction using crushed stone base with asphalt surfacing.
Marine/Dam construction
The ideal candidate will be a Degree qualified Civil Engineer with several years’ experience working with major civil engineering contractors in Ireland or the UK at senior management level. Previous overseas experience is a distinct advantage.
