The RoleThe RoleThe Senior Project Controls Manager (Planning/Scheduling) position requires a seasoned professional who can authoritatively define baselines and also review status and recommend actions to ensure that the controls systems on projects in development and execution are effectively tracking and forecasting the schedule relative to the baseline. This position will engage with projects in various stages of development from conceptual studies to detail design and construction. This position will either perform tasks directly or will scope and administrate work to third party technical consultants. The successful candidate must have scheduling, controls, programming experience. Will have an Engineering degree or equivalent |
RequirementsRequirementsThe Senior Project Controls Manager is a corporate level position reporting to the Director Project Controls The individual is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining effective project execution processes and standards to ensure that all stages of major projects are executed in a consistent, rigorous and disciplined manner. To support this, the Project Controls Manager is responsible for institutionalizing standards pertaining to project reporting, cost estimating, planning/scheduling, cost control and forecasting, change management, and associated risk analysis. The Project Controls Manager is also responsible for supporting the project controls effort on ongoing projects as well as sourcing and developing project controls functional personnel to meet staffing needs on major capital projects. |
