Senior Projects Venture Accountant

Company:
Our client work was established in 1974. They work in all phases of Oil & Gas; including drilling and production operations, transport, etc.

They are looking to recruit a Senior Projects Venture Accountant to be based in Qatar

Duties & Responsibilities:
Recommend a fit-for-purpose control framework developing a high level of risk and cost awareness within each team.
Lead budget planning & preparation in the Annual Business Plan ensuring alignment with Company business strategy and
Ensure that Company business and financial policies and procedures are consistently and appropriately applied.
Prepare and present financial/management information to the Team Lead and senior management liaising with the respective

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:
Degree qualified
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience
Experience in oil & gas industry
Experience/Knowledge of project financing principles and their practical application

Accounting and tax due diligence experience, both for green field and brown field projects
Experience / knowledge of handling deal structuring from tax and accounting perspective
A ‘can do’ attitude and ability to perform in difficult situations
