Job description / Role
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing leadership for development and implementation of design and construction Quality Control Programs, procedures, resource allocation, and training;
Providing leadership for Quality Control support activities for assigned program (s) or projects (s) to ensure that products or services provided are IAW customer and Parsons requirements:
Qualifying, training, certifying and supervising all Quality Control personnel:
Interacting regularly with client, program and project management teams; interacts with Parsons Quality Assurance and executive management
Requirements
PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Civil Engineering Degree (4 years).
A minimum of 15 years overall experience with at least 10 years experience in a quality management position on major civil works projects including large pipeline and/or tunnel design and construction.
The individual shall be certified to perform activities in one or more of the following areas (or subjects): Mechanical, Civil, Structural, , Welding, Non-Destructive Examination, Receiving, and Special Processes.
Certification to industry recognized standards, such as certification to IEEE, ACI or International Code Council.
