Senior QA/QC Engineer - Testing & Commissioning

Job description / Role

Our client is property & real estate developer that have residential & commercial buildings, they are seeking to recruit qualified QC/QA engineer to join their projects management department.

Reporting the quality general manager, the incumbent will be fully responsible for inspection and supervision all projects under construction, that should include testing and commissioning work across projects.

Accordingly, the job holder shall:
- Monitor all quality issues across projects under-constructions with an objective of ensuring full compliance with the related contracts.
- Assist projects team in achieving quality & integrity of work across projects and during all stages of work.
- Adhere to QMS (Quality Management System of the company) in order to realize the quality objectives and to ensure mainlining quality process, procedure and integrity.
- Ensure meeting quality work of the company
- Actively engaged the site-team, construction-team and the contractors to contribute in delivering quality expectations.
- Assist in the implementation of ISO standards systems.
- Monitor QC plans & programs to ensure full compliance
- Supervise QC site teams and liaise with projects managers accordingly.
- Communicate all potential quality-related risk and quality-related execution with PM and propose solutions for improvements.
- Attend civil & MEP work inspections in the sites
- Maintain awareness of industry best practice in Testing & Commissioning, civil & MEP and communicate the same with the site-team, contractors and projects managers.
- Monitor the preparation of the process and production of As-built-drawings till handled to the owner/ end-users.

Requirements

- Should have a bachelor degree in engineering preferably MEP gained from reputable university.
- Has at least 10 years of work experience gained from being in project-manage men discipline out of which 5 years at top management level.
- Has hands-on experience in directing, implementing quality management systems (QMS) and standards specified by ISO.
- Has hands-on experienced in Testing & Commissioning methodologies.
- Has full awareness of construction regulations and general practice.
- Able to demonstrate proven track-record in extensive knowledge / hands-on in quality assurance & quality control management practices, processes and related technology & related soft-ware.
- Has excellent industry (real estate development) knowledge
- Should be experienced in auditing ISO Standards
- Should have bachelor in engineering
- Has excellent verbal & written communication skills
