Senior QS Claims

Job description / Role

One of Europes Biggest Civil Engineering Contracting companies is looking to recruit a British Claims QS.

This individual will have major motorway / highways experience for the UK top tier civil engineering contractors .

Reporting into a British Commercial Manager on site you will be responsible for helps to draft EOTs, Financial Claims and variations under the FIDIC Contract .

You will be commercial sharp , astute and aware of how to manipulate the contract and gain power for the main contractor .

You will have experience of dealing with clients & consulting engineers . You will be able to manage 1-2 QSs if needed . Your primary focus will be to coordinate and create everything needed for such a claim.

This role is perfect for a Western Qualified SQS that has some claims exposure and wants to get overseas on a mega design & build project such as this.

Valued at over 800 Million Sterling with over 36 Months to run this project will be a great step into the overseas market for someone career minded , focused & driven.

You will have a charming manner and will be able to win over a client and motivate your team. Communication and knowledge is key for this role. Our client doesn't want someone that doesn't feel comfortable presenting in front of a client when needed.

Requirements

- Single Status Candidates
- Degree Educated BSc Quantity Surveying & Ideally MCIOB
- Aged 29-35 Years of Age / Post Grad 7 Years Minimum
- Has 1 Major Motorway Project in which the candidate has done a similar role to mentioned above
- Able to start in the next 4-6 weeks on site
- Package for the right person

Compensation:
- Tax Free Package Ranging from 63-73,000 Sterling plus 30 Days Paid Holidays + Public Holidays.
- Annual Total 40-45 Days
- Performance Bonus Ranging from 5-15% of Annual Salary
- 1 Set of Return Flights
- Full Bupa Medical
