Job description / Role
Our client is a leading multinational, food services business with leading restaurant chains across the World. They are looking to recruit a Senior Quality Assurance Manager to manage the entire MENAPAK region.
The nature of the role entails the following:
• Manage the Quality Assurance in MENAPAK region;
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of food safety;
• Continually improving the quality of products sourced from food suppliers and distributors;
• Implement the recommendations from the clients global QA team;
• Manage food safety and QA programs for suppliers and distribution centres;
• Responsible for local QA system performance & tracking;
• Manage restaurant food safety;
•Crisis management (for example product recalls)
• Role requires extensive travel within the Region with International travel beyond the region required often - expected travel 40% of time
Requirements
The client is looking for a candidate with the following experience and qualifications:
• BS degree (food science or related core science) Minimum
• Certified in Quality related fields (HACCP, 6 sigma, SPC, quality auditor)
• 8-10 years experience in the Food industry, in FS, QA or related roles, or a minimum of 5 years in restaurant / food service background in a similar role.
• Experience in poultry is aMUST.
• Experienced in Quality systems, specifications, crisis management, food safety guidelines and regulations.
• Strong analytical, investigative and troubleshooting skills. Strong project management skills and detail orientated.
• Good organizational skills, ability to communicate and influence the organization.
• Must have an appreciation for living and working in the Middle East;
• Arabic language skills are an advantage.
