Senior Quality Coordinator

Job description / Role

Our client is a leading international construction group which operates across all construction sectors including major building, heavy infrastructure, oil & gas, mining and power generation. Today they are employing over 100,000 personnel worldwide composed of over 80 different nationalities. Currently ranked as within the top 20 international main contractors they are a well respected player in the worldwide construction arena.

Due to an ever expanding order book they currently require Senior Quality Coordinator to join their corporate office in Abu Dhabi to plan, implement and maintain quality procedure and policies across projects in the region.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience;

•Engineering Graduate in Mechanical or ELECTRICAL OR CIVIL
•Total 15 Year Experience in QA/QC of EPCC Oil&Gas, Airport, Towers, Highways, minimum 10 year experience in Oil and Gas with Multinational Companies; minimum 5 Year experience in Oil and Gas in Gulf Countries
•ISO 9001:2008 Lead Auditor /IRCA Certification (Preferable with Registration)
•Conversant with API,AWS, ASME,API, BS, ASTM, Shell & BP standards, ARAMCO, PDO and other international Codes for Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation
•Highly preferable with ASNT Level III in RT, UT, PT and MT, CSWIP 3.1, B-Gas Grade-2
•Experience in Preparing Quality Manual, Quality Control Procedures, Inspection Test Plan QC Inspection Forms for EPCC Projects.
•Familiar with QA/QC activities of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Welding, NDT, Painting, Coating, and Plant Piping.
•Collecting Customer feedback and coordinating with Construction management
•Experience in analysing the NCRs& CARs and preparing the root cause and coordination
•Conducting Quality awareness training Program for Project Staff
•Experience in Internal and External Quality Audit in Compliance with ISO 9001:2008 and Project Quality Specification
•Experience in Organising Management review meeting
•Experience in Monitoring and follow up NCRs, CAR, and PAR
•Good communication in English (Written/Spoken)
•Experience in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PP
•Witnessing Mechanical Test, Civil Lab Test, Coating Test etc
•Man Management Skill
•Conversant with Calibration systems
•Recruiting and Mobilising QA/QC staff
•Pre-Qualifying Vendors, Subcontractors in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 and Client Specification
