Job description / Role
My client specializes in Offshore EPC including subsea pipeline installations. They require an experienced QAQC professional with exposure to the Middle East and Asian Energy markets to work in a full time position in the UAE. The candidate will be expected to travel on occasions to India for certain stages of projects.
The Manager Safety & Quality Systems and his main role is to ensure the Company remains compliant with Regulatory / Legislative Requirements as well as ISO 9000 and 14001:2004 Standards by liaising with regulatory authorities and ensuring changes are implemented into the business as required. Hell be responsible for implementing a continuous improvement program by adopting new methods and techniques towards upgrading the companys quality (QC & QA) and safety systems.
SUMMARY:
Acting as the Company liaison with customers and regulatory authorities to ensuring changes are implemented into the business as required.
Acting as a Lead Auditor / Investigator whilst conducting internal and external audits and safety investigations.
Implementing changes and maintaining / upgrading the Companys Quality Management System.
Overall management of the Operational Safety System.
Managing Occupational Health and Safety and relevant programs for all Employees.
Updating and implementing Emergency Response policies and procedures and utilizing these programs when required.
Managing and implementing the Companys Environmental Program.
Documentation and data control.
Redevelop the company quality and safety cultures
Manage the development, delivery, implementation, promotion and review of the Quality Management System based on the ISO 9000:2000 and Environmental Management System based on ISO 14001:2004 quality standard to meet the specific objectives of Company Policies and Procedures.
Requirements
1. Minimum 15 years of experience mainly in subsea installations/offshore EPC
2. Engineering Degree or Higher Technical Qualifications
3. Strong background in QA/QC activities
4. ISO and Audit experience
5. Prior work experience in the Middle East and Asia highly desirable
