Job description / Role
On behalf of our client, a prestigious developer in Abu Dhabi we are recruiting an experienced Western or Indian Educated Senior QS with MRICS or in the process.
Reporting to Head of Projects, you will be responsible for preparing tender, identifying consultants, contractors and vendors, RFPs, evaluating proposals and negotiating contracts, providing advice on contractual claims etc.
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar technical discipline.
- Membership of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
- Minimum of 10 years progressively responsible experience.
- Experience should be pre and post contract on projects such as shopping malls, hotels, very large villas, palaces etc.
- Excellent communication and client/external interface skills.
- Well organized, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astute.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal.
