The RoleThe RoleKEO International Consultants is a highly ranked and award winning planning, architecture, engineering and project and construction management firm with offices in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Bahrain, Dubai, Jordan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. KEO’s Infrastructure division provides engineering consultancy services in the areas of water, wastewater, drainage, solid waste, environmental impact assessments, transportation and power and telecommunications. Working within KEO’s Infrastructure Division based in Qatar, the Senior Quantity Surveyor will be involved in some of the most integral Infrastructure based projects across the Region. Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following: • Proven ability to manage, direct, plan and coordinate the administrative and fiscal aspects of a project, with particular emphasis on budget, cost estimates and bill of quantities for major highway projects. • Proven capability in preparing cost analysis, planning, controlling and value engineering, in addition to significant experience in recommending procurement methods for projects. • Contract administration and claims experience with a working knowledge of FIDIC. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain successful client relationships. • A minimum of 15 years of post graduate professional Quantity Surveying experience, with at least 10 years involved in large scale infrastructure based projects including highway and road projects. |
