Senior Quantity Surveyor (Post-Contract)

Our client is leading cost management consultant in the Middle East. They have always viewed property and construction assets as having complex, integrated lifecycles. This consultant delivers a portfolio of services along this lifecycle, from concept through design and construction to the management and maintenance of a project or asset. They are one of the leading asset management and construction consultants, established for more than 100 years.

Duties & Responsibilities
We are urgently looking for Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead a team and work on a project in Qatar.

• performance of the contracts administration aspects of a set of projects as part of the programme management consultant’s role on a major programme of infrastructure development works
• interfaces with all teams to meet overall program deliverables
• drafting Contractual correspondence; Monitoring and processing Variation Orders and Addenda; Final Accounts for Consultants and Contractors; Drafting and maintaining periodic commercial and Contractual reports; Drafting Weekly and Monthly Reports
• reporting on contract administration performance of Consultants and Contractors.

Requirements

Qualification & Experience
You will have:
• successful post-contract administration of major infrastructure projects
• 10 + years post graduate experience
• experience of leading teams
• strong negotiation skills
• experienced user of MS Office and project management software
• undergraduate degree or membership of a recognised International Professional Body e.g. MRICS
• experience in international contracting mechanisms e.g. FIDIC
• excellent English-language written and oral communication skills
