Job description / Role
- Preparation and evaluation of tenders
- Preparation of subcontract agreements
- Estimating, measurement and evaluating variations
- Cost control and commercial management advise.
- Monthly progress claims of executed work.
- Management of payment applications and certificates.
- Agreement of final accounts.
- Leading a team of surveyors and estimators and directing their work.
- Co-ordinate with professional team and assisting the head of technical department
Requirements
- Candidate should be available immediately.
-The successful candidate will need to be degree qualified (or equivalent) in civil engineering or building surveying or a construction-related subject with an advanced knowledge of computer software i.e. Microsoft Office Packages and estimating programmes.
- A minimum of 12 years experience in a similar Quantity Surveyor role within the construction contractor sector with experience of building projects
- Extensive knowledge of FIDIC form of contracts and different methods of measurements like POMI, CESMM-3, etc...
- Relevant experience in UAE and GCC experience required
