Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handling Project QS functions, contractual matters and correspondence.
- The preparation of Bills and/or Schedules of Quantities of materials, labour and services required in the construction and equipment of building or engineering works.
- Financial reporting and tracking.
- The preparation and valuation of progress and final payments in connection with any contract or sub-contract.
- The appraisal of the value of proposed constructions or other structures already erected.
- Preparation of specifications.
- Acting as arbitrator in cases of dispute in connection with building or engineering work.
- To advise on cost management or value management

Requirements

* 7 years+ experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the Civil Services Industry (Building and Infrastructure).
* 3 years+ Senior Quantity Surveyor experience.
* Candidates must be able to demonstrate a successful and heavily main contracting biased CV.
* Preferably with reputable main contractors on large scale projects.
* A degree (or similar equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
* Primavera knowledge is an added advantage.
* Previous experience of working in the Middle East region would be beneficial but not essential.
* Western nationality.
* Single status appointment preferred.
