Employment: Full Time

Our client is an established commercial and programme management consultancy based in Dubai but with offices worldwide. Originating from the US, they have now based all of their international operations and bids from their Dubai office, having secured some prestigious work in the UAE.

Examples of such include hospitality, retail, specialist theme park and leisure projects, as well as some infrastructure work more recently. Proof of their increasing reputation and subsequent growth in the region is borne out by the fact their staff numbers have doubled in the last 12 months.

As part of this growth they now seek an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the team. The suitable candidate will lead a hotel project from a cost planning and pre-contract perspective initially and then see the project through to completion. Therefore cost planning experience with a Consultancy is essential and hospitality experience is preferred. You could be a QS in the GCC looking for your next step in the region, or already an established Senior QS looking for a new challenge with a growing company with international reach.

Requirements

- Educated to degree level with a Western University while resident
- At least 7 years post grad experience in Quantity Surveying
- Majority of work experience with a PQS / Consultancy firm
- Experience of cost planning on buildings projects

Preferable:
- MRICS chartered
- Degree qualified subject Quantity Surveying
- Hotel / Hospitality project experience
- Based in the GCC region or with GCC experience
