Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a Main Contractor who is currently looking to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to work main new build contracts The ideal candidate will have between 8 -10 years experience and would ideally have new build experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a genuine market leader working on some of the most high-profile projects in the Middle East.

Main responsibilities
- Manage all subcontract procurement process preparation of tender packages, tender reconciliations and subcontract documents.
- Manage the preparation and negotiations of all monthly project interim and final accounts.
- Measurement from drawings on site to prepare, negotiates, and agree subcontractor and client variations.
- Attendance at clients monthly project progress meetings where required.
- Analysis of project costs to feedback to the Estimators on a regular basis.
- All necessary Health and Safety training will be given.

Requirements

- Bsc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying.
- Strong experience in a new build QS role or similar relevant experience.
- Fully qualified to degree level.
- A detailed understanding of the commercial new build projects.
- Highly motivated, driven with ability to work individually or part of a team.
- Flexible and positive approach.
