Job description / Role
The Senior Quantity Surveyor responsibilities include daily monitoring of contractor progress including materials delivered, materials installed, materials dredged, labor resources employed, equipment resources utilized and other statistical management.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Set-up budget and reporting process
2. Accumulation of statistical progress and resource data on a daily basis
3. Quantity estimates for progress payment purposes
4. Updated final quantity estimates based upon actual progress data
5. Provision of progress data for schedule purposes
6. Assistance as required for development of budgets and costs-at-completion
7. Variation analysis and estimates
8. Analysis of costs of delay as required
9. Cost analysis of alternative means and methods as required
Additional responsibilities include development and provision of data and information to produce progress reporting and monthly schedule status.
Requirements
The candidate should possess a relevant Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in QS) or higher qualification in Engineering with Minimum of 15 years of directly related experience in QS./Contract Administration.
