Job description / Role
Main Purpose of the Job:
A Senior Quantity Surveyor is required for a long term project in the Western Region of KSA. We are looking for high calibre candidates who have the ability to work on-site for a major Middle East client of ours.
Key Responsibilities/ Duties:
• As Senior Quantity Surveyor you would be responsible for working on and the successful financial delivery of cost monitoring budgetary control for our client
• You will take responsibility for the delivery of projects, commissions and professional assignments
• Be competent in the delivery of Cost Management
• Assume a leading role in setting objectives and priorities, working as a proactive team player
• Maintain effective communication ensuring all information is available for the successful completion of projects, to liaise with other managers to ensure efficient financial control resulting in projects being cost effective
• Be able to undertake commercial management services with limited supervision
• Deliver all work outputs in an accurately and timely manner
• Provide support to the Team Leader / Service Leaders in cost management of projects
• Be a proactive team player.
• Represent the company in a professional and diligent manner, meeting, negotiating and corresponding with clients forming a strong working relationship in true partnership
Requirements
• Degree qualified from a Western University in Quantity Surveying
• MRICS (Or equivalent) qualified for a minimum of 3 years
• Worked for a recognised blue chip consultancy
• Fluent in English (verbal & written)
• Arabic Language advantageous
