Job description / Role
Company:
Our client provides the full range of cost and contract management services including quantity surveying throughout every stage of a project. Their professional teams work closely with the client and its consultants to help ensure right decisions at the right time, more added value and reduced risk for the client, established for more than 50 years.
Duties & Responsibilities:
We are urgently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead a team and work on a project in Jeddah.
• Performance of the contracts administration aspects of a set of projects as part of the programme management consultant’s role on a multibillion dollar building project.
• Interfaces with all teams to meet overall program deliverables
• Drafting Contractual correspondence; Monitoring and processing Variation Orders and Addenda; Final Accounts for Consultants and Contractors; Drafting and maintaining periodic commercial and Contractual reports; Drafting Weekly and Monthly Reports
• Reporting on contract administration performance of Consultants and Contractors.
Requirements
Qualification & Experience:
You will have:
• 10 + years post graduate experience
• Experience of leading teams
• Strong negotiation skills
• MRICS is preferable but not essential
• Degree in Quantity Surveying
• Experience in international contracting mechanisms e.g. FIDIC
