Job description / Role
AECOM is seeking a site based Senior Quantity Surveyor. This in a exciting role working with AECOM on a Major Middle East Infrastructure Project. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will support the Project Lead in all commercial matters related to a Major Highway project in Qatar.
- Monitoring Contractors cost control procedures throughout the duration of the project including the design phase, construction phase and final accounts.
- Assessing, evaluating and making recommendations related to Contractor Claims for EOT & Delay.
- Assessing, evaluating and making recommendations related to Contractor variations/ change orders to client
- Processing Internal Monthly Cost Reports.
- Provide assistance to the team during negotiations, arbitration or any other forms of dispute resolution
Requirements
- BSc in Quantity Surveying
- 15 yrs. post graduate experience as a Quantity Surveyor on infrastructure and highway projects
- FIDIC contract experience
- Contractor or Consultancy background
Preferred Qualifications;
- RICS and or CIOB membership.
